Fix the NY State TBI Waiver Complaint Line

Those who sign this petition call on the NY State Department of Health and the Brain Injury Association of NY State to require that anyone who files a complaint related to the state's TBI Waiver be informed of the results of their complaint - in writing - within 60 days of the day the complaint was filed.

Right now the complaint line agreement between the DOH and BIANYS does not require the complainant be told the results of their complaint and, as a result, they are never told.

Brain injury survivors and their families deserve equal rights, which includes justice. There is nothing just about denying people the right to know what becomes of the formal complaints (grievances) they file with the NY State Department of Health regarding the state's own brain injury program.
